During the past week, somebody gained entry to DKS Industries, a metal fabrication shop & stole some unique machinery. Police are asking our local community to keep an eye out for these items should you come across them anywhere.
Photo #1 - Hydraulic pump with custom stainless cover & hose attached.
Photo #2 - 3 to 4 of these Hydraulic cylinder rams, one yellow in color and each 1 foot in height. One also had "GUS" written on the side.
Photo #3 - Magnet drill press with a black & red label on the left side.

Theft Of Motorcycle – Gold River, B.C. / Nootka Sound File #19-687

Nootka Sound RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in attempting to locate and return a stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle, a 1971 Honda “Rancho”, 90cc engine, which was originally orange and black in colour was stolen from a storage unit at an apartment complex in Gold River. The motorcycle may have since been painted over. Vehicle Identification Number CT90427459.

Between September 20-22, 2019 the backhoe in the attached photo was stolen from a construction site at Jubilee Parkway & Willow Creek Rd. This is a Case Model 580SL & has a serial number of JJG0204657.

During the early morning hours of August 12, 2019, the individual in these photos (video to be attached to Facebook post), broke into The Park Golf Course on Anderton Rd in Comox. Access was gained to a few buildings, with cash & property being stolen. An electric golf cart was taken about 10 days later and may be related to the initial Break & Enter.

Between the early morning hours of 3am and 5am September 1st, the Gold River Deli located on Nimpkish Drive in Gold River was broken into. After entering the store, the suspects proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of cash, and cigarettes.
Nootka Sound RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for this occurrence. An image of one of the suspects was obtained from the in-store video. Around August 15-16, 2019, a Break & Enter occurred at Rich's Auto Collision where the compound was forcefully entered and three oversized wheels (photos attached) were removed and stolen from a Hummer H2 parked within.
The noted vehicles from the attached photos are believed to be related to this crime. (Maybe somebody here knows to whom owns or drives these vehicles?)

Robbery with a Weapon / File #19-7549

On June 25th, 2019 just before 11 AM, the individual riding the bicycle in this photograph produced a weapon & committed a Robbery at the Thrift Store on 2nd Avenue in Campbell River, then fled. Thankfully, nobody was injured!
There was but a glimpse of the suspect in the photo, though Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public's assistance for further information that could lead to the identity of the person responsible described as:
Male, wearing dark pants, dark gray hoodie, & riding a blue & white mountain bike without a seat. (The person in the background is NOT a suspect).

May 06, 2019
On April 27th, 2019 at approximately 4 PM, an older male was driving an SUV, north on the Island Hwy towards Campbell River; while by the Driftwood Rest Stop, he had passed a larger, "lifted" truck operated by another man.
This seemed to cause the male in the lifted truck to follow, confront then assault the older male in the parking lot adjacent to the Willow Point Tim Horton's. This individual then left the area in the noted truck.
Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public's assistance for anyone that may have witnessed this incident and / or may have additional information that could assist with the ongoing investigation & may lead to identifying the male with the "lifted" truck.

During the early morning hours of April 17th, 2019, the suspect shown in these images forced their way into the SoCal Restaurant located on the South Island Hwy and stole property within. The suspect then fled & more than likely had access to a vehicle.
Though difficult to determine suspect identity from these photographs, Campbell River RCMP are looking for any helpful tips that could assist in solving this break-in.
