Campbell River CRIME STOPPERS is a non-profit society run by a volunteer Board of Directors and was formed in October of 1990 by a group of 10 local community-minded people who felt that CRIME STOPPERS could make a significant difference in combating criminal activity in our area. We are affiliated with, and are members in good standing of: CRIME STOPPERS International, Canadian CRIME STOPPERS and BC CRIME STOPPERS, and have been honored several times with National and International Awards of Excellence.

Our main sources of funding are donations from concerned citizens like you as well as personal & corporate memberships.

CRIME STOPPERS is an independent non-profit society and registered charity managed by a civilian Board of Directors working in partnership with the police, the media and local citizens.

CRIME STOPPERS is a vehicle that allows citizens to ANONYMOUSLY supply police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they may have knowledge without fear of reprisal.

Although based in Campbell River, we provide services to the Communities of Gold River, Sayward, Port McNeill, Port Hardy, Port Alice, Bella Coola, Tahsis, Zeballos,  Alert Bay and the Discovery Islands.
