9/25/2017 - Suspicious Incidents At School

Campbell River RCMP are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred Friday morning, September 22nd, near Martin Drive of the Willow Point area around 8:15 am. A young boy was walking to school using the paths in the area and was approached by a male described as a dark skinned male, approximately 173 cm (5`-8"), in his mid 20`s wearing a flat brimmed ball cap, a dark hoodie sweatshirt and sweat pants. The male told the youth, "Come with me."   The youth fled the area. There was a dark coloured van or SUV in the area that has been described as being larger that a mini van with windows at the back, no make, model or licence plate were obtained. The investigation is ongoing at time.

Police are requesting any witnesses to this event or any other suspicious incidents to contact the Campbell River RCMP (250)286-6221 or Campbell River Crime Stoppers

Police are also reminding all parents to take this opportunity to review safety procedures with their children in regards to dealing with strangers and what to do when approached by strangers.

Campbell RCMP recently recovered this bicycle in the attached photograph. It`s believed that it was stolen and they are interested in finding it`s rightful owner.

The Campbell River RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying the following male who was attempting to break into the Campbell River Head Injury Support Centre in the early hours of July 1, 2017.

Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public`s assistance in identifying the individual in this photo after he stole a bicycle on June 1st, 2017 near Shopper`s Row.

Perhaps the clothing worn by the suspect will be familiar to somebody out there & we encourage tips to be submitted. Thank You Campbell River!!!

On 2017JUN12, the male seen in the attached video clip was responsible a Mischief; it depicts him in the act of doing Graffiti at the Skate Park located on South Alder Street.

Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public`s assistance in identifying the person in this video.

6/20/2017 - Hit & Run to Cyclist /File #17-6560

On 2017JUN20 at approximately 4:25 PM, a black 4 door sedan being operated by a female w/ dirty blond hair,  possibly in her 40`s, made a right turn from 6th Avenue onto Alder Street & collided with a cyclist. Though injuries were minor, the driver only had a brief conversation from her vehicle but at no time supplied or exchanged her information with the cyclist.

Campbell River RCMP are interested in locating this driver and any witnesses that could come forward that may have seen this collision.

Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public`s assistance with a Mischief that occurred to a local business, March 5th, 2017 where an object was thrown through a window.

Police are hopeful that suspect`s identity may be known by the clothing worn in this image.
